FAITH AND COURAGE

Larkin Spivey writes to give readers new insights into the complex subjects of God, war, and America. As a Christian he has found that stories showing the power of faith under the stress of combat can serve to strengthen the faith of believers, while also challenging the perspective of unbelievers. As a former skeptic himself, he always keeps the skeptical point of view in mind. His books span American military history from the Revolution to the present conflicts in the Middle East. Each book has a page on this website with more detailed information.

His latest release: STORIES OF FAITH AND COURAGE FROM THE MARINES, is filled with:

INSPIRATIONAL STORIES FROM MARINE COMBAT OPERATIONS in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and wars in the Middle East, including:

  • 180 riveting accounts of faith and courage with relevant passages of Scripture.
  • Historical summaries, maps, and photos of Marine operations from each war.

THIS UNIQUE BOOK brings the modern era of Marine Corps history to life and cements the bond that Marines of every generation share with each other. This unique combination of individual stories and historical overview gives a picture of war and combat not seen in most histories.
